Q: What is the difference between National Parks and Game Reserves?

National parks: These are government-run parks, very strict (No Off-roading, set Game time), and more affordable compared to Game reserves. Game Reserves: Community-run, they offer more exclusivity, flexibility for off-road driving, Night Game drives, guided bush Walks, and Luxury experiences. Best for wildlife sightings.

Q: What should I Park Or wear on Safari?

Clothing: Neutral-colored clothing (Khaki, Green, Brown, beige), a Light layer for cool mornings and Hot Days. Footwear: Comfortable closed shoes for Game drives and Sturdy walking shoes for Bush walks. Essentials: A good sun hat, high-SPF sunscreen sunglasses, and Quality Binoculars. Gear: Camera with a Zoom Lens, extra batteries/Memory cards, and Quality Binoculars.

Vaccinations: A Yellow Fever vaccine will be required for entry. Ensure your routine vaccinations are up to date; consult a Travel clinic. Visas: You need a Visa for entry. You can apply for one Online, quick to get it, or you can it on arrival in Kenya.

These are the five most dangerous Animals to hunt on foot. They Include: Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, and Rhinos.

This is the Main activity while on Safaris. This is basically exploring the wilderness in a specialized 4X4 vehicle with a pop-up roof for optimal viewing and photography. Game drives usually happen in the cool early morning and late afternoon, when most animals are active.

Q: What are the Bathroom Facilities like on Game drives?

Most full-day game drives include a stop at a designated picnic site with basic restroom facilities, For Shorter Game drive – the Bush bathroom will work fine.

Tour Highlight.

Visit the famous Masai Mara National Reserve & Lake Nakuru, 5 days 4-night safari package. You will be able to witness the Wildebeest migration (During the migration season), the big five wildlife, lions, elephants, African Buffalos, Rhinos (rare), & Leopards (rare), other wildlife like giraffes, antelopes, Hippos & Crocodiles at the Mara River, Black and white rhinos at Lake Nakuru, many species of birds, flamingos, and many more.

This tour will be private, starting and ending in Nairobi, and transport in a 4 X 4 safari jeep, Toyota Land Cruiser, and accompanied by Daydream Safaris’ professional Tour Guide.

3 Nights Masai Mara National Reserve | 1 Night Lake Nakuru National Park.

Day 1 :

Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve.

Pick up at your Nairobi hotel or the Airport at 7-8 a.m. and drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve.
The drive to the Masai Mara is a 5–6-hour drive. Arrive at noon, check into your Lodge, have lunch, and go on an afternoon game drive on the first day.
Game drive until 5-6 pm, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
6-9 pm, dinner at the Lodge.
Accommodations: Camp/Lodge.

Day 2 :

Full-day game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve.

- - On Day 2 of the safari, we will be having a full-day game drive at the Masai Mara National Reserve.
  - If you will be taking a balloon safari, you will take it on the second day, and pick it up at your hotel at 5:00 AM, for a 1-hour or 1 hour 30 minutes flight, and then back for a champagne breakfast.
  - After breakfast with a packed lunch, start our full-day drive traversing through the Masai Mara savannah.
  - Safari Highlight.
    - Big Five (Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, African Cape Buffalo, and Leopard). Rhinos and Leopards are rare to sight.
  - Visit the Mara River, and see the Crocodiles and hippos.
    - Other wildlife, e.g., Giraffes, pumbas, Cheetahs, etc.
    - Many species of Birds.
  - A picnic lunch will be served. You will return for dinner and overnight at the Lodge in the evening.
  - Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
  - Accommodations: Camp/Lodge.

Day 3 :

Full-day game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve.

- 3^rd day starts with a balloon safari, which starts very early in the morning, at around 5-6 AM, after having a Champagne breakfast, then continues with a full day game drive.
- Balloon Safari is optional (extra cost); in case you do not take the balloon safari, then a full-day game drive will be provided.
- We can choose to have 2 game drives, a morning and evening game drive, or a full day with a parked lunch.
- Explore other parts of Masai Mara National Reserve, later in the evening return for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
- 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm – Dinner at the hotel.
- Accommodations: Camp/Lodge.

Day 4 :

Masai Mara NR – Lake Nakuru National Park.

- Morning breakfast and check out of the Lodge/Camp, visit the Maasai Village for cultural and dance (extra $25 per person optional).
- We drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a 6-hour drive, arriving at noon, in time for lunch, have lunch, and later an afternoon game drive.
- Game drive at Lake Nakuru, a safari highlight.
- Black & white rhinos.
- Flying flamingos (they do migrate to other parks).
- Tree-climbing lions.
- Many bird species.
- Later in the evening, return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
- 7.30 pm – 8.30 pm – Dinner at the hotel.
- Accommodations: Camp/Lodge.

Day 05 :

Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi.

Morning breakfast, if your accommodations are inside the park, we have a morning game drive to visit the waterfalls.
After, drive back to Nairobi with options to visit Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and nature trail at Lake Naivasha.
At the Nature trail, you will be able to walk with giraffes, waterbucks, and zebras.
Later, drive to Nairobi, arriving in the evening, transfer to the hotel or the Airport for the international flight.
End of trip.
